Jukebox The Ghost recently embarked on a one-day tour of New York City, playing outdoor sets in all five boroughs. Pianos were set up at each end of the city as a part of the “Play Me, I’m Yours” public art project. When the guys from Jukebox The Ghost heard about the exhibit, they saw it as a rare opportunity to bring their music to the street in a most unconventional way.

Jukebox The Ghost are right in the middle of a long stretch of tour dates with Free Energy and Miniature Tigers. Throughout the tour, the band has been testing the waters, playing a mix of new tunes and old favorites, even throwing in a Donna Lewis cover “I Love You Always Forever.” Thus far, they have received an overwhelming response from their fans, who are eager for a new Jukebox The Ghost album. Well, it looks like the wait may be almost over.

The band, who is currently on tour with Free Energy, has been on fire lately with several festival dates on the books and a recent placement in a high-profile national Pepsi television ad.
Jukebox The Ghost is just wrapping up their sophomore album, recorded with Worlds End producer, Peter Katis (The National, Interpol). The album is expected for late-summer release and promises to be more ambitious than the band’s debut Let Live And Let Ghosts.

For what should be one of the most dynamic billings of the season, Jukebox The Ghost has just announced their spring tour dates in support of Free Energy. Following the tour, the band is also scheduled to perform at this year’s Lollapalooza festival, which takes place this August in Chicago.
The indie pop trio has just finished their anticipated follow up to 2008’s Let Live And Let Ghosts with Worlds End producer Peter Katis (Interpol, The National). New music will soon be available for licensing. Stay posted for further details.
